ALAS has developed an advanced design of ball valves top-entry of a full range of diameters and pressure classes. The top-entry valves are the right choice when it’s  necessary to make maintenance without taking apart valves from the pipeline.

Removing the valve cover the access on the body cavity it’s free. Taking away four pin spacers positioned under the bonnet it’s possible to remove the ball and the seats; this operation of maintenance requires a very small space around the valve and it is therefore also possible in areas where space is limited.

At the moment Alas choice is to produce only forged top entries because through years reached the same costs as casted valves, offering higher quality standards and faster deliveries.

Size range is both for full passage that reduced, pressure classes ANSI from 150 to 2500, with all possible combinations of end connections: flanged (RF or RTJ), welding end and with Hub.

Sizes:    DN25 to DN 600, 1” to 12”, Full and Reduced bore
Pressure rating:       ANSI 150 – 2500
Temperature range:    -196°C to +500°C
Seat leakage rate:    ISO 5208 or ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class V and VI
End flange connection:    ASME B16.5
Buttweld ends:    ASME B16.25
Mechanical joints:    as customer requirements
Top Flange:    ISO 5211
